Story
Starting Connection Aid was born from my passion for making a meaningful difference in dementia care. As an occupational therapist with almost a decade of experience in aged care, I’ve seen firsthand how Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care (PAC) transforms lives—both for people living with dementia and their care partners. My journey has taken me from Australia to England, where I had the privilege of working alongside Teepa herself.

Currently, I’m pursuing a Master’s in Dementia at the University of Tasmania and collaborating with health professionals in Portugal to bring PAC to Portuguese-speaking communities.

At Connection Aid, my goal is simple: to create environments where individuals can stay connected, live with dignity, and find joy in everyday moments. By building strong relationships and offering practical support, I aim to make every step of the journey more meaningful for everyone involved.
